| Centre for Materials for Electronic Technology (C-MET), Pune will be organizing an International Workshop and Symposium on the Synthesis and Characterisation of Glass/Glass-ceramics (IWSSCGGC-2010) in association with Materials Research Society of India (MRSI) Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata and Gujrat Chapters in Pune during 7th to 10th July, 2010 as a part of an activity of MRSI Subject Group: Ceramics and Glass. IWSSCGGC-2010 will provide an opportunity to young researchers to have interactions with eminent glass scientist/technologists from India and abroad and exposure in the various aspects of glass, ceramics and glass-nanocomposites etc. Additionally, topics related to the broad areas of ceramics, glass and glass-ceramic materials with applications in laser, radioactive waste management, radiation shielding, space research communication etc., will be discussed comprehensively. IWSSCGGC-2010 will serve as a common platform for different researchers / technologist and industry to share their experience related to these technologically important areas. |
