GAS CHROMATOGROPH : Model 5890 Series II Hewlett Packard

Principle:
Gas-liquid chromatography accomplishes a separation by partitioning solutes between a mobile gas phase and stationery liquid phase held on a solid support.

Capabilities:
Solids & liquids having boiling points below 2500 C will be easily analyzed with the help of adequate
column.

Accuracy & precision:
Samples can be analyzed up to ppm level accurately

Sample dimensions :
Sample must be either in liquid or gaseous form. Solid samples can be analyzed prior to dissolve in any suitable solvent. Few ml i.e. 0.5 ml to 1 ml of solution is sufficient for analysis.
